Sour News #024: Mid Summer Vibes
“A quick catch-up from the workshop"
Hi everyone,
It's been a little while since our last newsletter. To be honest, we've all had our hands full lately.
Over the past months we've been busy building bikes, testing ideas, and working behind the scenes on a complete relaunch of our website. Our goal was simple: make it easier for you to understand our bikes, explore the details, and learn more about what makes each model special.
Check out the new website:
Shortly after the relaunch, we had the opportunity to get two of our bikes into the hands of some well-respected reviewers.
Our Double Choc recently went under the microscope at Pinkbike.
At the same time, Bikepacking.com spent time with our Pasta Party 32" prototype, giving the bike its first taste of the public spotlight.
We're incredibly thankful for the coverage and the thoughtful feedback.
Show Season is Coming
June 27–28, 2026 Planet Earth
While summer is in full swing, we're already deep into preparations for the upcoming show season.
While we will not be attending MADE personally we will have two bikes on display. One bike will be showcased at the White Industries / Astral booth, while another will be found at the Silca booth. If you're heading to the show, make sure to stop by and take a look.
And of course, we're especially excited about Bespoked Dresden.
This one feels a little different because it's happening right on our doorstep, and honestly, we can't wait. We've already got a few ideas brewing for what we might bring along...
Who knows what we'll end up showing there?
Maybe something completely new. Maybe something unexpected. Maybe both.
👉 Bespoked Dresden: SEPTEMBER 11-13
Summer Break
Before all that happens, we'll be taking a short summer break from July 15th until August 1st.
The workshop won't be completely silent, but things will definitely slow down for a couple of weeks. During that time, responses to emails and inquiries may take a little longer than usual.
Thanks for your patience—and thank you, as always, for your support.
Enjoy the summer, get out for some rides, and hopefully we'll see some of you at MADE or Bespoked.
Cheers,
Christoph & the SOUR Bicycles Team
That’s it! Thanks for reading!
